About Lakeshore Home Builders Association

Established in 1967, the Lakeshore Home Builders Association (LHBA) is a non-profit association representing housing and the residential construction industry.  It consists of 290+ members representing all facets of the industry, including developers, builders, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers, realtors, title companies, engineers, architects, designers, manufacturers, real estate attorneys, utility providers and anyone else who makes their living connected to the housing industry. We are the local affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Home Builders Association of Michigan (HBAM). Combined, our three organizations provide services and representation for housing and the housing industry at a local, State and Federal level.  Members who join LHBA are automatically members of HBAM and NAHB.

LHBA’s territory covers West Michigan’s Lakeshore counties; Ottawa, Allegan, and Muskegon County. The range of housing provided by our members includes everything from low income to luxury, from suburban communities to city developments, from single-family to condos and apartments.
